"Good, but I’m not totally sold on the price"
I’ll be honest, I was a little worried I might be getting fooled by the hype, but the taste is actually good and shipping went smoothly. That said, the bottles were smaller than I expected for the price, so I’m not sure the value is really there. I’d probably buy again if it was on sale, but I don’t think I’d pay full price.

"The terms kept changing on me"
I didn’t want to leave a bad review, but the whole experience was frustrating. At first, everything sounded straightforward, but then the terms kept changing and it felt like I was being told something different each time. I just wanted clear information and a simple process, not to keep adjusting to new conditions after the fact

"Felt like a heat bait and switch"
I really wanted to enjoy this, but the heat was all over the place. At first it tasted like there was barely any spice, and then out of nowhere it would hit way too hard. It kind of felt like a bait and switch, because I was expecting something flavorful with a nice kick, not random bursts of heat.
I like spicy food, so that wasn’t the issue. It just didn’t feel balanced and ended up taking away from the meal instead of making it better. I wouldn’t buy it again

"I thought this seasoning was going to be..."
I thought this seasoning was going to be something I could use on a bunch of different meals, but it only seems to taste right on BBQ or grilled meat. I tried it on veggies, eggs, and even chicken soup, and at first I was like maybe it’ll grow on me, actually no, it just made everything taste smoky and salty. It’s probably fine if you mostly cook that one style of food, but for my kitchen it wasn’t very useful...

"Smoke flavor felt a little off"
Maybe I just got it at the wrong time or caught a bad batch, but the smoke flavor didn’t really taste natural to me. It came across kind of fake instead of like real smoked flavor.

I ordered from fireandsmokesociety.com the shipping took way longer than I expected. I kept checking the tracking and it barely moved for days — well, not barely, it pretty much just sat there with no real updates. That was probably the most frustrating part. The products might be totally fine, but the wait kind of spoiled the whole experience for me. I’m not sure I’d order again if that’s how their shipping usually goes.

"Well, dinner technically happened"
I tried a few of the recipes, and they were basic. The steps were a little vague, which is always fun when you’re hungry and pretending to know what “cook until done” means. My dinner turned out okay, but not exactly something I’d brag about...

"Pretty decent, just not amazing"
I mean, it’s good overall. The ingredients seem fine to me, and I didn’t have any big issues with it. Some of the blends just tasted a little flat, like they were almost there but missing something. So yeah, not bad at all, just not really a wow for me.

Order came on time. Box was okay-ish. Jars were wrapped in paper and nothing broke, so that was good.

The outside box looked banged up though. One lid had a little seasoning dust around it. Not awful, just messy.
I’d still order again. Just hope they use a stronger box next time

"Good flavor, just not totally wowed"
I tried a couple of seasonings from Fire & Smoke Society, and overall they’re good. I don’t think I made a bad purchase or anything, which is reassuring, but I was kind of hoping they’d stand out a little more for the price. Some of the blends were really nice on chicken, but a few tasted similar to me, and a couple leaned a bit too salty. I’ll definitely use up what I bought, and maybe others would love them more than I did, but I’m not sure I’d rush to reorder right away
